When Can I Enroll Into A Plan?
Initial Enrollment Period
You have a 7 month period that begins 3 months before you go onto Part B, the month your Part B starts and 3 months after

Medicare Supplements can be bought 6 months before and 6 months after your birth month without underwriting, but cannot begin until Part A and Part B starts
Annual Election Period (AEP)
October 15-December 7 is Annual Election Period

When you can enroll or disenroll from a Medicare Plan. Enrollments during this time will be effective January 1 of the coming year. This is when most people make changes to their plans.
Open Enrollment Period (OEP)
January 1-March 31 is Open Enrollment

Leave a Medicare Advantage plan and go back to Original Medicare

Change to a different MA or MA-PD plan
Special Election Period (SEP)

Certain circumstances give you a SEP to change or secure a plan
